I've been working on this slowly over the past month, finally got to a point where I was satisfied. The dragon is based on a sketch, and the environment is vector all the way.

about 20-25 hours in Illustrator.

I think it's the green tones

Is this based off Anne McCaffery's Dragonflight series?

I surfed on in, looking for Atlanta area artists. Just being nosy, I guess ^_^. However, it's neat -- I like that you are a varied artist and willing to do more than one thing.

I love vector art. The jabba I just submitted took like four hours, but I guess he probably looks like I did him in 30 minutes lol I'm especially intrigues with light and shadow in other people's work, and your light and shadow use just rocks. +fav!!

Wicked work. ahh the clean crispness of vectors, very refreshing. I like the design of the wyvern and and way the mountain peak/volcano seems to be billowing colour into the sky
